I never imagined Mallorca to be this beautiful. But the island has so much to offer, so many places to see and an incredible landscape. We went there at the end of march, so that it wasn't crowded by tourists, but yet warm and pleasant.

As we don't like hotels that much, we preferred a private stay 10 kilometers from Palma. An appartment at a Finca, surrounded by olive trees, orange plantation and two donkeys nearby. What else do we need? Oh yes, a car, for being able to explore the island.

We drove along the westcoast, from Palma to Port d'Andratx and Sant Elm, then via Banyalbufar to Sóller, where we took a rest for a late lunch. A short stop in Fornalutx and then all the way up to Cap Formentor for watching the sunset.

On saturday we visited the market in Santanyí, took a coffee stop at the salt fields in Ses Salines and at Playa Es Trenc, and at the end of the day we bathed our feet and enjoyed the deep turquoise water in Cala Pi.

We will definitely come back, Mallorca has stolen a piece of our hearts!
